For the second year, TED, a nonprofit combining technology, entertainment and design, is searching to find the ten most compelling campaigns of 2011 for Ads Worth Spreading.

TED’s mission is ideas worth spreading. The vision behind this is to look for companies that want to communicate ideas to consumers equivalent to the way TED wants to communicate with its audience.

They are inviting agencies, brands, producers, and people to submit, “work that expresses a clever, compelling, or an infectious idea” between October 15 and December 31.

The top nominees will win online distribution of airplay on TED’s website and YouTube. Additionally, they will be showcased to TED attendees, as well as receive a one-day pass, to TED2012, complete with travel and lodging.
