There’s plenty we do at ‘work’ which reminds us why we call it work in the first place. But the more we can blend what we love and believe in with our every day, the better. One of the real pleasures of our work is getting the chance to support film makers and the inspiring stories they tell, often of injustice, inspiration, and the human struggle.

We were lucky enough to be a part of the Media That Matters festival in NY recently, and were thrilled to present our Spark video/action widgets to three jury-selected filmmakers. The Media That Matters Film Festival is a showcase for short films on the most important topics of the day—and you can check out the three Call2Action Prize winners here if you’d like:

“I am Sean Bell” Directed and produced by Stacy Muhammed
“No One Bothered” Directed By Josephine Boxwell, Produced By Laurie Nicholls

“Shades of the Border” Directed and Produced by Patrick Smith

In the same vein, we are thrilled to be working with the team at the Lights. Camera. Help. Film Festival. We started our company because we are activists who believe in film, and who believe in taking responsibility, and lending our efforts to support yours feels about as close to aligning our passions with ‘work’ as we can get.
