Lights. Camera. Help. Community Manager Internship
Lights. Camera. Help. is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to encouraging other nonprofit and cause-driven organizations to use film and video to tell their stories. We do this through education, volunteer match programs, and an annual film festival.
We are looking for interns to help fulfil the organization’s mission while learning the nuts and bolts of nonprofit arts administration. While interning at Lights. Camera. Help. you will also see the inner-workings of the film industry and support the nonprofit and cause-driven film communities.

– Writing and Social Media work
– Editing proposals and contracts
– Working with volunteers
– Bookkeeping of tasks, projects, contractors, and client affairs.
– Market Research and Email development
– Helping QA (quality assurance) web projects, database and programs
– Other professional tasks as required
Everything we do happens through the internet. You should be very comfortable and adept at using social networking sites, web browser, Excel (or spreadsheet program of your choice), and be able to roll with the punches.
Passion for nonprofits and film/video is a requirement.
You should be responsible, and a clear and effective communicator on the phone, email, chat, and in person. You need to be able to work unsupervised and have your own work environment, as well as occasionally meet in central Austin to discuss tasks and projects.
Can be for class accreditation or volunteer hours.
